Ahana Swim

The first time I heard about Ahana Swim it was over a jam jar filled with red wine on windy Adder Rock headland at sunset and it was still just an idea.

Talented, hardworking entrepreneur Michelle Brook had arrived on the island and was full of plans and the commitment to make them happen. A whirlwind of flair and genius, she told me that it was going to happen and, wholey surfwear, she did it.

These bikinis are quite something, Michelle is a surfer and wanted swimwear that wouldn’t come off in the surf while still looking great and also sustainable, and was determined to come up with a solution.

f.ast forward a year later, the first release of bikinis arrived, we all did a happy dance and headed to the beach with some smokin’ hawt local girls for the first shoot.

And then, we headed up to the Sunshine Coast for a collaboration shoot between us both and Sira from the awesome picnic styling company Something Special on Main Beach in Noosa.

The shoot was perfect, the girls were beautiful and fun, the food delicious, the AirBnB we stayed in, quite amazing and the red wine was flowing.

We solved many world problems over that weekend.
