Dan + Drew | Intimate backyard wedding

Dan and Drew’s intimate backyard wedding had many firsts for us.
The first wedding we had shot at this ace beachside property, perfect for an intimate wedding, first wedding shot with our new Nikon x6, first time Shez,the celebrant, used her fancy new mic. setup, the first time we had not one but two Ninja Warriors in the bridal party, first hollywood sock.

And the first time we had photographed the weddings of two guys.
And it was so ace.

We had been chatting with the guys since mid 2019, they were due to be married just as COVIDthatbitch hit Australia with a vengeance, in fact I think they cancelled less then ten days before their big day, how bloody stressful (but like the rockstars that they are, these guys took it all in their stride)

But oh so totally worth it, it really was quite an amazing day.
Very intimate and lovely, with the reception setup in the backyard a view of Home Beach through the paperbark, it is a very special spot. A wonderful location for an intimate backyard wedding. North Stradbroke Island, you know how to make everything brilliant.

Hopefully more in that spot, I think it is through AirBnB.
