Ceremony on Home Beach
Rachael and Jack met in London, online and Rachael knew as soon as she met Jack, that she would be with him forever.
She told her best friend after the first date that she had found the love of her life.
“She is my best friend and one true love, she makes my entire life better then I could haver ever imagined”
– Jack
Jack talks about their instant connection and how natural and easy is was to be with her, He knew something special was going on from that first date.
This was their second wedding, the first was with Rachael’s family in Devon, this was with Jacks family on the island and they intend to have a post COVID party for everyone later on.
It was a very cool little wedding, just family, on the beach, with dinner and drinks up at Kokomo (add link please) afterwards, we joined them for the sunset/amazing cocktail and felt pretty privileged to be involved.
Location portrait on the Cylinder Headland,
In fact, when I first started talking to Jack about doing his lovely little intimate wedding, I didn’t realise that he was related to island media royalty (not only island … Australia-wide … and beyond) We freakin’ love his family already … but Rach and Jack’s lovely Straddie wedding is not the place … I will just leave it here that they are all freakin’ legends and save the we love the Hawke/Lake family for another time.
