Becoming wedding photographers on Straddie wasn’t our original plan.

As photojournalists, we fell head over heels for the island and knew we had to make it our home. How did we make it happen?

Picture this: us, sipping a beer at Cylinder Headland, the sun setting over that iconic view, deciding to dive into wedding photography. At the time, the island’s wedding scene was a budding industry, but we knew, big things were about to happen.

So, we took the leap, moved to Straddie, and for over a decade, we’ve been at the heart of our islands beautiful little wedding industry. It’s been an incredible journey – capturing love stories in paradise, feet in the sand, surrounded by pure joy. These experiences, and the friendships we’ve formed, are priceless.

But now, it’s time for a new chapter. We’re choosing to focus on a select number of weddings each year and only shooting ten weddings per year. Our goal? To keep our work personal and meaningful.
